Samuel Ericsson is an American cellist and graduate of the world-renowned Cleveland Institute of Music. He currently performs with one of Tokyo’s “Big Eight” orchestras, the New Japan Philharmonic.

Based in Kamagaya, Chiba, Samuel teaches cello in both English and Japanese and brings over 15 years of teaching experience to students of all ages and backgrounds. His teaching emphasizes a strong technical foundation and a beautiful, resonant tone, while always prioritizing the joy and fulfillment of making music.
